Bipolar embarrassment and shame
I've been reading a lot about the shame that can be felt by people with Bipolar or embarrassment. This is something that can come on strong after a manic or hypo manic episode. You know, the "oh my god I didn't do / say that, did I?" Period. "How can i get this deep shame to dissapear?". It can even feel like a totally different person you don't recognise who done / said that thing. Distractions help but the thought of what happened keeps coming back like acid reflux.
These can be tough times for bipolars but after years of this, it can somehow feel normal.
Reminds me of the poem "song of the battery hen".
